Though I didn’t advance to the next round I couldn’t be more proud to share these images & video. I’m honored to be included this far and grateful for these beautiful memories I will cherish forever. A HUGE thank you to my wonderful Husband for believing in me enough to build a boat and lug it through three feet of mud and back out when it was twice as heavy from soaking up water

To fill everyone in. Matilda Jane received over 1,000 entries for Photo Love & narrowed it down to 54. I was thrilled to be included. Those 54 were sent a dress, headband & a word to inspire the shoot. My word was wonderful. I chose to submit the image below with arms open and eyes closed because it was such a wonderful moment captured. Message in a bottle was probably my second favorite. The birds were flying as the sky faded from blue to pink. It really was the most beautiful scene
I’ve ever seen.
We used lights and I envisioned the scene from the little mermaid where the boat rows under the weeping willows.
We put floating lights in the water once it was dark enough to see the glow.
